Loom Knit The Cluster Stitch
Learn to loom knit the Cluster Stitch in this loom knitting video tutorial by Dayna Scoles. Let me begin by saying this stitch is an easy stitch but is geared more to the advanced beginner. I also need to emphasize that this is a loom knitting stitch tutorial not a complete loom knitting project video. The teaches you a stitch you can use in your next loom knitting project.
If you are the type that likes to have a written pattern in front of you as you work Dayna has a written pattern for the hat you see in the loom knitting video at the Raverly site.
The loom knitting tutorial itself is easy to follow and the shots of the work she is doing is decent. The verbal instructions are clear and easy to follow. The video overall is a good loom knitting tutorial
If you have questions about the stitch or the pattern you can contact Dayna at DaynaScolesDesigns.com. Even if you don’t have questions for Dayna I think it worth a look. There you will find many of her original loom knitting stitches.

Dayna, I love this stitch. I am fairly new to loom knitting but it is addictive and fun! I would like to try to make a rectangular prayer shawl using this stitch. I am pretty clear on how to do the cluster stitch but I was trying to determine how I wanted to space them to get a pleasing look. I could not tell exactly how many rows of repeat you did in your pattern. How does this sound? Any advice?
Row 1 – (3 e-wrap knit stitches, 1 cluster stitch) 3 e wrap knit stitches
Row 2 – e-wrap knit all
Row 3 – e-wrap knit all
Row 4 – e-wrap knit all
Row 5 (1 cluster stitch, 3 knit stitches)
Row 6 – e-wrap knit all
Row 7 – e-wrap knit all
Row 8 – e-wrap knit all
Repeat rows 1-8 to desired length.
Note: I did not include the border that I plan to add to the top, bottom and sides of my project.

This excellent cluster stitch video was made by Dayna Scoles and I don’t want to answer for her so I think the best way to get the answer to your question is by visiting her personal site at http://www.DaynaScolesDesigns.com and presenting your question there. Me personally I think the pattern you have listed will provide a look you will be pleased with.

This is a beautiful stitch, however it’s to hard to see the cluster stitch being done with putting the stitches back ON. Thank you.
